Wow we are already in June! It seems like 2010 is flying by! The weather is getting pretty nice here in Pittsburgh, I hope it’s just as nice wherever you are at! This month was a little slower for us but we still managed to publish 17 posts. We really want to get things going so if you didn’t hear we are looking for new staff members ! Since you usually find out the version of your board’s BIOS at the same time, I thought that an article on updating, or flashing, your BIOS would be a good idea. There were numerous articles on the subject back when I first got into building, and all of them involved a 3.5” floppy drive
How to find out the Model of the Motherboard You Have
Knowing who makes your motherboard and what model you have is very important. Many motherboards have new drivers and BIOS updates that fix problems with the motherboard once it has been released. To download and install these updates you need to know the exact model name and manufacturer of your motherboard.
February 2010 in Review
Another month has gone by here at ThinkComputers! This month was a really bad month for weather here in Pittsburgh, one of the worst storms in memory hit us and things haven’t got much better, it has been snowing almost every other day. Besides the crazy weather we had a lot of really cool reviews this month.
CES 2010 Wrap Up
This year’s CES was sure great! It’s been 2 weeks since the event and we have completed our coverage of the event. We posted a total of 33 articles covering the show, our largest coverage of the show yet! I think the site being on wordpress made a huge difference! My favorite product of the entire show was Lenovo’s U1 laptop. It has a screen to pull out of the chassis and becomes a tablet
